Monnette Paris

Monnette was born in the orchards of Moimont in the Picardy region of France. She spent her time exploring antique and flea markets giving her grandchildren a glimpse at the beauty in old things. Her passion was to repurpose, recycle and give old pieces a new lease of life. Today, Monnette, Paris is a company run by Monnette's relations who continue to follow her mantra by taking silver spoons unearthed at flea markets and personalising them with a hand stamped love note.

 

Each letter is carefully stamped using a hammer and letter stamp, a metalworking technique dating back thousands of years. Here at Maison Chérie we love the time and care taken by Monnette in Paris to not only source these beautiful silver spoons but the attention to detail shown in the hand stamped message of love.
