Monnette was born in the orchards of Moimont in the Picardy region of France. She spent her time exploring antique and flea markets giving her grandchildren a glimpse at the beauty in old things. Each letter is carefully stamped using a hammer and letter stamp, a metalworking technique dating back thousands of years.
